Official and Unofficial Dog Beaches
McKenzie Beach Larnaca: official dog area (fenced, year-round). Lady's Mile Limassol: unofficially dog-friendly. General: May-Oct no dogs at main beaches. Nov-Apr: tolerant. Early morning (6-8 AM): undisturbed even in summer.
The section on "With Your Dog to the Sea" was the most valuable for us. We couldn't find this information anywhere else before our move. It saved us a lot of time and hassle.

Dog-Friendly Spots
Athalassa Park Nicosia (840 hectares). Limassol Promenade (15 km, leashed). Troodos trails (5-10°C cooler). Café terraces: mostly welcome. Dog Park Limassol: first official fenced park.
Tips
Summer: asphalt too hot from 10 AM. Always carry water. Strays: leash training is best protection. Poison baits: unfortunately a problem – train "leave it". Always bring poop bags.
